Chicago Street Theatre is thrilled to welcome Grammy-winning artist Jim Peterik back to our stage for a very special, intimate acoustic performance!

Here's your chance to spend an evening hearing the stories behind such monster hits as "Vehicle," "Eye Of The Tiger," "The Search Is Over," "Hold On Loosely," "Rocking Into The Night," "Heavy Metal," "L.A. Goodbye," and many more from a career spanning almost 50 years.

Jim has written and performed with the best and the brightest.  One of modern music's most prolific songwriters, he easily crosses genres from rock to blues to country to jazz.  From his days with The Ides Of March (who are still performing), through the Survivor era, writing with 38 Special, REO Speedwagon, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Sammy Hagar, up to his contemporary jazz project "Lifeforce" and melodic rock band "Pride Of Lions" featuring Valpo native Toby Hitchcock, Jim talks the talk and definitely walks the walk.  Chicago Street Theatre shows are always something special.  Who knows?  You may even get to participate in a Q&A segment.  Tickets will go fast, so don't miss out.

Jim recently released an acoustic career retrospective, "Jim Peterik: The Songs," produced by legendary producer Fred Mollin (Kris Kristofferson, Art Garfunkel, Jimmy Webb) featuring imaginative new arrangements of his classic hits. The "The Songs" concerts, featuring his acoustic band "The Stormchasers," have been wildly successful. For our stage, he's bringing a scaled-down-but-no-less-talented version of the band. You'll hear some of your favorite songs in a whole new light!

Join us and find out why Jim Peterik is one of our all-time favorite performers.
