One Night Jam's goal has always been to bring the finest, most creative artists to our stage to share with our audience.

Two years ago, I was involved with one of Jim Peterik's "Lifeforce" concerts, and one of his special guests was a young man named Casey Abrams.

Now, Casey had been a finalist on Season 10 of "American Idol," and I had seen his performances because another friend of mine, saxophone wizard Mindi Abair had accompanied him on stage for one and was talking about him.  He was different, a little quirky, but I liked what I heard.  And he was charming and very pleasant in person as well, so Jim and I sat down with him and discussed CST and One Night Jam, and I told him I thought he'd be perfect for our series.  He and JP shared an agent, so we figured something could be worked out.

Finally, our calendars synced up, and Casey will be bringing his blend of pop/folk/jazz to Chicago Street Theatre on Sunday, August 4th.

Casey Abrams was born in Austin, Texas and spent his early years in Chicago, then later moved to California to attend Idyllwild Arts Academy. An extraordinary musician, Abrams studied classical bass, piano, improvisation, music history and participated in numerous jazz ensembles.

After graduating, he then studied music at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Since American Idol, Abrams has toured with his fellow season 10 American Idol cast mates, collaborated with Haley Reinhart on the holiday classic, “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” (A Top 10 iTunes video and Holiday chart debut) and recorded his debut album.

Casey's shows have been selling out everywhere he's played.  Get your tickets today so you won't miss a chance to hear some of the most unique, catchy songs you've heard in a long time!

JUST ADDED!! SPECIAL GUEST

Robert Rolfe Feddersen!

Region singer/songwriter Feddersen, former lead singer for metal band Loudmouth, has completely changed direction and has gone the softer folk route, embracing the challenges of the working-class people around him.  He's about to release a new album, produced by the legendary Steve Albini.
